Toshiba's 47TL515U 47" 1080p 3D LED TV is one of those ultra slim 3D TVs you've been hearing so much about. Not only can it display 1080p high definition signals, it can do so in 3D. Whether you're watching 2D or 3D programming you'll enjoy an image with high contrast and natural colors thanks to the ClearScan 240 technology. I did not want stroke inducing shutter glasses to watch 3D eapecially for the little kids.
LG and Real D came up with a very nice option for the once in a while 3D watcher.
LG is making these panels for Vizio and Toshiba as well so far as i have determined.
Sony is next on the runway for this tech.
The shutter glasses were a real turn off for me frome the gate.
I set up my new Tosh last night and watched "cloudy with meatballs" in 3D
very cool.
right now I'm watching dishnet and the Tosh is performing beautifully with my usual 2D programming.
I'm keeping it.
